Angi: Local Cost Guides
Tapping into the local market for our cost guides felt like an easy win. However, we needed to ensure we had enough cost data while avoiding duplicate content penalties from Google. I created a templated content brief that cut down editing time by 50%, allowing us to publish over 1,700 articles in 6 months. Local cost guides also drove higher conversion rates and increased revenue.
Angi & HomeAdvisor: GenAI
I spearheaded a project that used a generative AI workflow to create 1,000 new articles about niche home improvement tasks in 6 months. The articles were based on existing information across the Angi and HomeAdvisor content libraries. These articles drove an additional 25% in revenue, combined, across the two websites and had a 70% ROI.
Angi: Cost Insights
Angi’s cost guide articles are a primary traffic driver, providing readers with cost data from real-life customers. We revamped our “key takeaways” on these articles to focus on highlighting the most important costs for each project. Overseeing this project, I created templated guidance and a work stream that allowed us to update hundreds of articles in just a few months. This update boosted search rankings as well as AIO and featured snippets.
